Medical workers from the Township Department of Public Health under Ministry of Health is conducting a mass immunization campaign at the designated vaccination sites and the office of the Township maternal and child welfare association in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State starting from the first week of July this year.

Healthcare workers dosed and vaccinated children below two years old and pregnant women with hepatitis B, Polio, measles, diphtheria, pneumonia, cholera and Japanese encephalitis vaccines at the designated vaccination sites in the Township.

The mass vaccination campaign is being carried out by medical workers at the office of maternal and child welfare association in the town of Maungdaw every Monday.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
