MYANMAR national team captain Maung Maung Lwin received a K100 million reward and a commemorative trophy from the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) Executive Committee for scoring the winning goal against Manchester United in a recent friendly match.
Maung Maung Lwin wore jersey 11 and scored the only goal in the match between ASEAN All Stars and Manchester United on 28 May, leading his side to a 1-0 victory. The Myanmar Football Federation Executive Committee 2/2025 Meeting decided to honour him with the award.
The MFF Executive Committee Meeting 2/2025 also reviewed preparations for the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games, focusing on the men’s U22 team, the women’s national team and both men’s and women’s futsal squads. Committee members discussed training plans and competition goals for Asian and ASEAN tournaments across all age groups.
