Jointly organized by Kubota Agricultural Machines and Tools Trading Co. and Pwintbyu Township Agricultural Mechanization Department, a demonstration of mechanized rice planting was conducted with the use of Kubota rice planting machine in the paddy field of farmer U Aung Aung in Kyaungsu village, Zedaw village-tract, Pwintbyu Township, Magway region yesterday morning.

 

With the development of technology, the numbers of agricultural machines and tools are increasing. Using these machines and tools in agriculture works can minimize the cost of crop planting and the challenges of labor scarcity, maximizing crop yields due to rightful method of rice planting, said U Ko Ko, head of the Region Agricultural Mechanization Department. He also encouraged the farmers to try their best to develop agriculture sector in their villages after observing the demonstration.

 

Then, Ko Joe of Agricultural Machines and Tools Trading Co. introduced agricultural machines and tools produced by Kubota Co, detailing methods of rice planting with Kubota rice planting.

 

U Ko Ko and staff, departmental heads at the Township , District, Region level and 200 farmers from Zedaw village, Kyaungsu village and nearby villages in the Township were present on the occasion, it is learnt.—Ye Win Naing ( Nyaung Oo)
