MEDICINES that were difficult to purchase in the pharmaceutical market are being sold at the wholesale prices offered by about 70 pharmaceutical companies for the second time in Yangon Region, from 3 to 7 February, according to Dr Win Maw Phyo, a central executive committee member of the Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Entrepreneurs Association.

Dr Win Maw Phyo said: “ People can bring their medication cards, medicine bottles, and patient records to purchase medicines that are hard to find in the market”.

The event is being held at the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization (MyanTrade) Yangon Region Headquarters Office, located at the corner of Merchant Street and 30th Street in Pabedan Township, Yangon Region. Similar events are also planned to be held by the Myanmar Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Entrepreneurs Association in other regions and states.
