An event to provide medical supplies for containing COVID-19 was held at the meeting room of the township Department of Agriculture in Chaung-U Township, Monywa District, Sagaing Region this morning.

At the event, an official from the region Department of Agriculture delivered an opening speech and an official from the district Department of Agriculture clarified the purpose of the provision of medical equipment for five villages in the township.

As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) donated soaps, basin, masks and infrared thermometer to buda, Inma, Yakyitaw, Sulekon and Shwedakya villages in the township.
