An event to donate medical items to the returnees from foreign countries amid the outbreak of COVID-19 was held at the Quarantine Centre in Kamma Township, Thayet District, Magway Region this morning.

As part of efforts to prevent coronavirus from spreading, Social Care Volunteer Group from the Town of Magway donated hand gel, soap, shampoo and shower gel to the township level committee on COVID-19 control, prevention and treatment.

The donations were received by deputy Administrator U Hein Thaw Aung on behalf of the township level committee on COVID-19 control, prevention and treatment.

Under this medical items supply, 59 returnees from foreign countries received hand gel, soap, shampoo and shower gel.—U Kyaw Zayya Win, IPRD
