An event to donate mobile toilets and nutritious food by Dhammaduta Sayadaw Ashin Chekinda and disciples to a public hospital was held at the office of Medical Superintendent of Bago General Hospital in Bago on 15 May.

Well-wishers U Tin Myint Oo + Daw Khin Lay Thet from Myawady Township and former Myanmar national selection footballer U Tin Maung Thein donated six mobile toilets and 80 packets of nutritious food worth about Ks. 15 million to the medical superintendent to be used in the control and prevention of COVID-19.

Similarly, Chief Minister of Bago Region U Win Thein and his family donated an ECG, two air conditioners, one water cooler, and one fan valued at around Ks. 2 million and Daw Mar Mar Aye, the director of the regional auditor-general office contributed an air-conditioner to the medical superintendent who returned certificates of honour to the donors—Hein Htet (Bago)
