As part of efforts to ensure that medicines, foodstuffs and cosmetics sold are fit for consumers, Ottara District Consumer Affairs Department inspected medicine stores and groceries in Ottara Thiri ward ( Chin Ywa), Nay Pyi Taw this morning.

In the tour of inspection, U Khin Maung Swe, head of the District CAD, Dr. Wai Lin of the District Public Health Department and departmental officials inspected the medicine stores and groceries whether the owners hold licenses, removing expired medicines, cosmetics and foodstuff which are not fit for consumption from the shelves. Then, the party buried the unhealthy items seized in the compound of the office of Ottara Thiri ward administrator, it is learnt.—Aung Ko ( IPRD)
