An effort to contain the spread of coronavirus is being stepped up by local authorities in Moenyo Township, Bago Region.
A group of local officials from the Myanmar Police Force, the Department of Health, Fire Services Department and Myanmar Red Cross Society led by Assistant Township Administrator U Myo Myint Aung and the commander of the township police force Police Major Aung Zaw Khant cleared off the rubbish and cleaned the rooms this morning.
A meditation center in the township would be turned into a quarantine facility for suspected patients with possible coronavirus, according to a local officials.—Ko Min (Moenyo)
