A meeting over the business, trade promotion and human re­source development between the Republic of the Union of My­anmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry-UM­FCCI and the Thai Chamber of Commerce-TCC took place at the Board of Trade of Thailand Hall, Bunjerd Chonvijarn Build­ing in Thailand on 10 February.

 

The meeting was led by UMFCCI president U Aye Win and Mr Sanan Angubolkul, chairman of the Thai Cham­ber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand. The strengthening of Thailand-My­anmar friendship, investment opportunities and trade promo­tion, cooperation in promoting the education sector of human resources development, issues related to migrant workers and the smooth flow of the Baht- Kyat payment system in border trade were discussed.

 

In addition, the UMFCCI and TCC discussed the success of the Global MBA Offshore Pro­gramme cooperation and the future work programmes to be implemented.

 

At the meeting, UMFCCI president U Aye Win said that UMFCCI hoped to be able to work together with TCC and expand its future plans. Then, Mr Sanan Angubolkul respond­ed that they were always ready to expand such cooperation and coordinate with each other.
