Meikhtila 7 January
As the fifth trip in 2019-2020 hiking and trekking season, Meikhtila hiking and trekking team is planning to climb Ashae Myin Anauk Myin Mountain which rises up 7752 foots above sea level near Lope Pyin village in Ywa Ngan township, Danu Self-administered Zone in Shan state on January 19.
The team will leave Meikhtila town on January 18 and spend a night in the village of Lope Pyin. This is the last hiking and trekking trip for the team in this season. After this, the team plans to ascend snow-capped Mt Phon Kan Razi in Puta-O township of Kachin state in April, said Dr. Myat Min, person in charge of the team.
In 2019-2020 hiking and trekking season, the team has so far climbed up Sin Mountain, Myin Mahti mountain, west Pyatkaywae mountain, Lwel Mong Mountain and gone for coastal walks spending four nights. 138 members of the team took part in climbing Ashae Myin Anauk Myin Mountain for the fourth time on 5 January, 2018.
