A ceremony to upgrade the Basic Education Middle School to a Sub-High School was held in Hinthadakyun Village, Nyaungdon Township, Maubin District of Ayeyarwady Region this morning.
Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Soe, staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Kyaw Soe Hlaing, chairman of Seinhtone village tract Administration Council U Kyaw Thein and headmistress of sub-B.E.H.S. Daw Shwe Khaing Myint cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the signboard of the school and sprinkled it with scented water.
During the event, students performed the songs. Next, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Soe delivered a speech. Next, staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Kyaw Soe Hlaing discussed matters relating to the schools. Afterwards, chairman of the village tract Administration Council U Kyaw Thein spoke words of thanks to the government.
