ONE of four missing school girls was found dead near Kinponkai Village in Mindon Township, Magway Region on Saturday morning, police reported.
About 10 a.m. on 13 July, a rescue team found the dead girl, missing after a boat capsized on Friday afternoon.
The search for the miss-ing school girls is being con-ducted by the township police, in cooperation with the region MP, fire fighters and philanthropic organisations, in an attempt to rescue the three remaining students.
A boat carrying 18 passen-gers from Paukkaing Village in Mindon Township, Magway Region, was overturned at the convergence of Mindon Creek and Mu Creek at 2.45 p.m. on 12 July.
Township police have filed charges against boat driver Zar Ni Aung.—Mindon IPRD
