THE fixture III matches of the 2024-2025 Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) Futsal League I took place at Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon on 5 January, where MIU maintained its top position with a third consecutive victory.
In the matches, MIU triumphed over SGF with a score of 3-0. MH Dream Team defeated VUC 4-3, while M2K overcame Futsal Lovers 3-2. YCDC Marga edged out Winner Soccer 2-1 and YRG and Generations ended in a 3-3 draw.
Defending champions VUC faced their first loss of the season, despite heavy pre-season preparations and the addition of new players. Newly promoted YRG still battling against stronger teams and has secure just two points in three games.
Meanwhile, MIU showcased consistent performance with a full win record, and MH Dream Team also delivered a strong showing by defeating the reigning champions VUC.
After fixture III, MIU leads the standings with nine points, followed by MH Dream Team with seven points.
Generations are in third place with five points, while VUC and M2K share four points each. YCDC Marga and SGF have three points each, YRG and Winner Soccer have two points each and Futsal Lovers has one point. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
