The play-off final of the MFF Futsal League 1 took place at the MFF Futsal Gymnasium of Youth Training Centre in Thuwunna in Yangon yesterday, and MIU won over VUC in the penalty decision.
VUC and MIU held a 2-2 draw in the ordinary timeframe. In the penalty decision, MIU beat VUC with a 4-3 win, as a 6-5 win in total scores.
If VUC wins this match, it does not need to play one more match to secure the championship trophy. Now, as MIU has won the game, VUC needs to play one more match.
The second play-off final match between MIU and VUC will take place on 13 March. If MIU wins the game, it will be the champion. If VUC secures a win, both teams will go to the third match. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
