UNION Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung yesterday encouraged the students from the University for the Development of the National Races and Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College (Yangon and Sagaing) under the Ministry of Border Affairs, who will participate in the Fifth National Sports Festival.
The Union minister also observed the training sessions of the ministry’s Sepak Takraw team, football team, and futsal team and warmly greeted administrators, coaches, and athletes. He called for sports teams to compete with full sportsmanship, bring honour to the ministry, and strive to become nationally renowned athletes.
The sports contingent of the Ministry of Border Affairs is composed of 105 athletes and will compete in five sports categories at the Fifth National Sports Festival. — MNA/TS
