STATE Administration Coun­cil Member Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, accompanied by officials, inspected the completed meas­urement of the original Kalaw Creek land area, affected by a natural disaster, near Kalaw railway station, in Kalaw Town­ship on 5 February.

 

The Union minister and party observed the construction of the nine feet high retaining walls by Kalaw Chaung, Ty­phoon Yagi-hit Yayayekan wa­ter pipeline maintenance, road maintenance to Yayayekan and the embankment approach road, damage in the Mawmyay Oo garden due to Typhoon Yagi, and recorded photos of rehabil­itation processes.

 

He then met district-level officials at the Kalaw District General Administration De­partment.

 

Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae also inspected the drain­age excavation processes for water flows after the blockage of water outlets in the gully due to a natural disaster in Shwem­inphone village. — MNA/KTZH
