THE Myanmar delegation, led by Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minis­ter of Pakistan Mr Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday during the official visit to Paki­stan at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

 

At the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing Myanmar-Pakistan relations, expanding multi-sectoral coop­eration, and promoting collab­oration in mutually beneficial areas such as economy, trade, agriculture and livestock, en­ergy, tourism, and culture. They also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two countries at regional and international lev­els, including within ASEAN. — MNA
