UNION Minister for Informa­tion U Maung Maung Ohn met Mr Alexander Shpakovsky, Chairman of the Myanmar-Be­larus Cooperation Develop­ment Executive Committee, at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morn­ing.

At the meeting, Mr Shpak­ovsky presented the Union min­ister with copies of Myanmar Selected Stories and 38 Mingala Stories (in Russian and My­anmar), along with four songs about Myanmar composed by a Belarusian composer.

He then explained the pur­pose of the book donation and discussed media cooperation between Myanmar and Bela­rus.

Also present at the meet­ing were Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung, and other departmental officials. — MNA/ MKKS
