UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspect­ed the broadcasting services of Canal+DTH, a joint venture with MRTV-4 and Channel 7 of Forever Group Company and M Channel of Media N Company in Yangon yesterday.

 

On arrival at the Canal+ DTH, the joint venture of For­ever Company and a foreign company, the Union minister heard the report made by the CEO regarding the own creation and procurement of content, plans to purchase and expand the broadcast of English Pre­mier League football matches starting from this July, matters related to management, and the challenges encountered in the workplace.

 

The Union minister stressed the need to follow the permitted media ethics, laws and updated directives.

 

He then inspected the MRTV-4 and Channel 7 pro­grammes of Forever company being broadcast by the studio at Yayku Amplified Broadcast Station compound in Mayangon township, filming and editing progress and sports events us­ing Live streaming vehicles.

 

He proceeded to the work­site of M Channel of Media N, which rented a studio in the same Yayku Amplified Broad­cast Station and watched the maintenance of the studio and filming processes at Studio 2. — MNA/KTZH
