Chief Minister of Mon State Dr. Aye Zan inspected preparations being made to lodge Myanmar citizens who will return the country from Thailand on 29 April.
Three school facilities in Kyaikmaraw Township in have been diverted into quarantine centers for the returnees from Thailand. Accompanied by Minister for Kayin Ethnic Affairs U Saw Aung Myint Khaing, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U Khin Zaw Oo, MP for Mon State parliament Daw Khin Myo Myint, Township Administrator U Kyaw Myint and department officials, the chief minister visited the quarantine centers.
The chief minister and his entourage looked into the quarantine facilities and heard the reports presented by officials on the ground and fulfilled their requirements.—Cho Myat Myat Htwe (Kyaikmaraw)
