Chief Minister of Mon State Dr Aye Zan made a field trip to Khawzar town to inspect possibility of construction of an inter-village road and donated offertories to an abbot of the village monastery on December 24.
The chief minister was accompanied by Mon State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Nay Htut Oo, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Dr Min Kyi Win, Minister of Immigration and Human Resource Development U Tun Min Aung, Mon State MP Dr Min Soe Lin and departmental staff. The chief minister and his entourage also provided 80 rice sacks and cooking oil to the locals. They also looked into progress for construction of an inter-village road being implemented under the border development fund in the current fiscal year and donated offertories to a senior monk.
They then supplied five rice sacks to the residents, inspected construction of a rural road section, and donated offertories to a monk of the village monastery.
