Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (Myanaung Branch) is disbursing monsoon agricultural loans to farmers in Myanaung Township, Ayeyawady Region on May 24.

The bank disburses monsoon agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops. An official from the Township MADB clarified the rules of the loans. 

It is earmarked that over 9000 farmers in 57 village-tracts in the township will be disbursed monsoon agricultural loans for their 55528 acres of farmland during 2022-2023 FY, according to the Bank Manager.
