With a view to greening and preserving the environment, a monsoon tree planting event was held in the compound of No-3 Basic Education High School in Dagon Myothit Township in Yangon Region this morning.
    

Yangon Region MP for No.1 Constituency U Tin Tun Naing, Township Administrator U Kyaw Moe, firefighters, members of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, members of the township maternal and child welfare association, volunteers from local philanthropic organizations took part in the activity.
    

The participants grew a total of 150 saplings in the activity to make the environment clean, green and peaceful and preserve the ecosystem.
