Myanaung 5 June

With the aims of greening the environment, reducing global warming and preserving ecosystem and biodiversity, a monsoon tree planting ceremony was held at Myanaung Oil Field in Myanaung Township on 5 June.

          First, Chairman of Myanaung District Administration Committee gave remarks and attendees planted 1,600 saplings of different shady trees. On the occasion, Chairman and members of District and Township Administration Committees, officials from Myanaung/Shwepyitha Oil Field, officials from Forestry Department, members of District and Township Women Affairs’ Committees, members of District and Township Maternal and Child Welfare Associations, teachers and students and departmental officials, totaling 350 people were in attendance.
