Monsoon tree planting ceremony held in Thaegon Tsp.

With a view to greening and preserving environment, monsoon tree planting ceremony was held at Tayokehmar Reserve Forest in the town of Inma, Thaegon Township, Pyay District, Bago Region on 29 June.

The occasion was attended by Chairman of Township Administration Council, officials from Township Department of Forest, Township Police Force, Chairman and members of Township Women Affairs Association and departmental personnel and they grew saplings at the designated areas.

A total of 50 departmental personnel planted over 360 saplings including teak and hardwood in the event.
