UNION Minister for Planning, Finance and Industry U Soe Win inspected No.5 Textile Factory under the ministry in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, on 1 August. 

At the factory, the Union Minister gave instructions on production of marketable products in stead of traditional ones, inspection on the quality of products, market research, avoiding unnecessary wastes in production lines, maintenance of machines for operating full capacity, readiness for the public–private partnership (PPP), fire prevention plan and measures against COVID-19 at the factory. 

On 2 August, the Union Minister and party visited the No.(2) Industrial Training Centre in Mandalay, and advised for taking healthcare measures of Ministry of Health and Sports when training classes are resumed, generating skillful trainees, supplying teaching equipment, conducting diploma courses and training of trainers(TOT) courses.
