A fire broke out at about 10:00 pm on 27August in ward-1, Zigon, Thayawaddy District, Bago Region.
The fire was thought to have started from a lighted mosquito coil left in the house of Ma Thidar.
13 firemen led by deputy staff officer U Thein Htway from the Township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to fight the fire in cooperation with locals and the blaze was successfully extinguished at around 10:50 pm.
The fire totally destroyed the house. But No casualties were reported.
Authorities filed a case against Ma Thidar for her negligence, it is learnt.—Township IPRD
