UNION Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw met the pro-rector, department heads and faculty members of Technological University (Kyaukse) on 30 June.

 

He heard the report made by the pro-rector regarding the maintenance, learning process­es of students, classrooms, de­partments and computer rooms after the earthquake.

 

He inspected the mainte­nance processes and dormito­ries for students.

 

On arrival at the University of Computer Studies (Manda­lay), he met the students who are studying at the newly con­structed school buildings of the university, and inspected the renovation of computer rooms, administrative offices, as well as repairs and upgrades to the volleyball and futsal courts.

 

On 1 July, the Union minis­ter inspected the Technological University (Sagaing) together with Sagaing Region Chief Min­ister U Myat Kyaw.

 

At noon, he proceeded to the Myanmar Institute of Informa­tion Technology in Mandalay.

 

On 2 July, the Union min­ister visited Technological Uni­versity (Mandalay) together with Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and relevant offi­cials, and inspected the teaching and learning processes.

 

During the visit, the Union minister heard the reports made by the relevant officials and gave proper instructions. — MNA/ KTZH
