A ceremony to wrap up a motor cycle repairing course was held at the Loom and Vocational Training School under Small Scale Industries Department in the town of Kyaukme in northern Shan state this morning.
Daw New Ni, the principal of the School in her speech said that the course was conducted in order to create job opportunities for local youths, to generate incomes of the families and to contribute to the development of rural areas as well as the socio economic status of rural people.
The township administrator and officials presented prizes to the trainees who stood first, second and third in the course. Then, an official from the Township Fire Services Department handed over certificates to one of the trainees. After that the principal gave away a set of tools for repairing motorcycle to each trainee.
The one-month course was attended by 20 trainees from Kyaykme and Hsipaw Townships, it is learnt.— Kyaukme District IPRD
