A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle on the Pyintbyu-Salin Road in Pyintbyu Township, Magway Region.

The accident occurred at about 5:50 p.m. on 9 May when a car driven by a man named U Win Myint collided with a motorbike coming from an opposite direction near between mileposts 28/3 and 28/4 on the Pyintbyu-Salin Road. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the spot with multiple injuries. The cause of the accident is still unknown.

Both the motorist and motorcyclist have been taken action over reckless driving by the local police.—Ye Win Naing (NyaungU)
