Kaleinaung, 26 November 

 A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident near mile post 59 on Ye-Dawei road in Mayann Chaung village in Kaleintaung township, Dawei district, Taninthayi region yesterday afternoon. 

Local police officers rushed to the scene to inspect he incident. The accident happened when a fast-moving motorbike driven by Saw Haeshe, 39, together with Aung Myo Win, 26, the pillion rider, was out of control and skidded. Motorcyclist Saw Haeshe died at the scene with injuries sustained. The pillion rider got minor injuries in the accident. 

Local police brought charges against the motorcyclist for careless driving, according to local police station.— Moe Moe Khaing (IPRD)
