Representatives from the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) donated relief supplies to the displaced people who left their homes due to escalating clashes between the Tatmadaw and the Arakan Army (AA) yesterday.

The commander of the township MRCS U Maung Hla and volunteers went to three separate locations where temporary rescue camps are being opened to provide relief items to the displaced persons.
They presented mosquito nets and blankets to 1,553 displaced people from 450 households who are currently taking shelter at three rescue camps and shared knowledge about activities of the MRCS.—IPRD
