A delegation led by U Ye Naing, Director-General of the Myan­mar Radio and Television-MRTV left for Kunming via Yangon to attend the 4^th Lancang-Mekong Audiovisual Week Roundtable Conference to be held in Kun­ming, Yunnan Province, China from 16 to 19 August.

The teleconference is jointly organized by China’s National Radio and Television Adminis­tration (NRTA) and Cambodian Ministry of Information, Yunnan State Radio and Television Man­agement Organization, Yunnan Media Group (YMG) and Lan­cang-Mekong International Sat­ellite TV Channel.

Senior information officials from Mekong countries includ­ing China, Cambodia, Laos, My­anmar, Thailand and Viet Nam, Heads of television stations and representatives of media organ­izations, and media representa­tives from South Asian countries will join the event. — MNA/KZL
