The Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) organized a monsoon tree planting event in Nay Pyi Taw (Tatkon) yesterday morning.
 

Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint and wife attended and planted star-flower tree and Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun, Pyitthu Hluttaw MP of Tatkon Township U Kyaw Tint, Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and officials planted seedlings in the park and playground.
 

The Union Minister and party followed and encouraged the tree planting of the staff from MRTV in the park, playground and both sides of the road.
 

The Beasts Motorcycle Club led by singer Zaw Win Htut also joined the event and planted the seeds and seedlings around the playground.
 

In the event, 1,230 seedlings out of collected 4,075 were planted and the rest will continue to be grown during the rainy season.—MNA
