In commemoration of Myanmar Women’s Day which falls on July 3, informative talk was held at the meeting hall of GAD in the Town of Mattaya, Mandalay Region this morning.

First of all, the region Hluttaw Representative U Min Min delivered an opening speech and Chairman of the Township Women’s Association and the Township Administrator U Aung Kyaw Naing explained about matters relating to women’s right.

Afterwards, Daw Thwe Thwe Oo, Chairperson of Orphans Reduction and Protection Association and Daw Hnin Sander Aye, member of the Township Women Committee gave messages respectively.

Also present on the occasion were the Region MP, Chairperson of the Township Women Association and members, departmental officials, social organizations, wards administrators and invited guests.—Soe Kyaw Thu Htway, Mattayar
