THE Myanma Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, has announced the release of a new postage stamp featuring the “Green Spotted Triangle” butterfly. This butterfly species is recorded as native to Myanmar. The new stamp, valued at K200, will be officially launched on 1 February 2025 (4th waxing of Tabodwe 1386 ME), starting at 9:30 am.
The stamp will be available for purchase simultaneously at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon General Post Office, Mandalay General Post Office, and other regional and state post offices across the country.
As part of a special initiative, stamps purchased on 1 February 2025 at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon General Post Office, and Mandalay General Post Office will be affixed with a commemorative date mark. — MNA/MKKS
