Myanmar and Bangladesh conducted a joint naval patrol along the Naf River on 25 April according to information released by Myanmar Police Force.    

 

The patrol team of Myanmar was led by Police Capt. Han Soe Aung of No.4 Border Police Sub-division (Pyinphyu), Area 6, Maungtaw Township, while the Bangladeshi side was led by Subedar Md. Ebrahim from No. 2 Teknaf BOP Outpost of Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB).

The Myanmar troops with two high speed naval vessels and with their Bangladeshi counterparts on their two naval vessels patrolled together from nautical miles 5 to 8 in the Naf River. 

 

The two sides had a meeting on vessel in the middle of the Naf River. —MPF
