Mandalay, 6 October
The Myanmar Coffee Festival 2019 was opened at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay this morning.
The event is jointly organized by the Department of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and the Myanmar Coffee Association. Various kinds of coffee across Myanmar are being put on display at the festival. Booths representing organizations, coffee growers, coffee producers, and restaurateurs show different species of coffee and coffee production. The event lasts till 7 October and a total of 36 booths showcase their coffee products.
The purpose of the festival is to promote quality of Myanmar’s coffee and expand export market. Those interested people are invited to take part in the event.
