BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm "FANI" over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal centered at about (330) miles East-Northeast of Trincomalee (Sri-Lanka), (360)miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India) and (420)miles Southeast of Machilipatnam. It is forecast to move North- Northwestwards. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North and East central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th April, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Yangon Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts.Surface wind speed in squalls ay reach (35-40)m.p.h.  Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers in Lower Myanmar areas.
