AT the invitation of Mr Alexan­der Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus and Ro­tating Chairman of the EAEU, a high-level Myanmar delega­tion led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior Gener­al Min Aung Hlaing departed Myanmar yesterday morning by special plane to attend the 4th Europe-Asia Economic Fo­rum (EEF 2025) in Minsk, and was warmly welcomed in the evening at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk by Governor Mr Travnikov Andrey Aleksan­drovich and other officials.

The Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region held a friendly exchange of views on enhancing economic cooperation between Myanmar and the No­vosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation, fostering ties with ASEAN countries, expanding air travel services, and developing the tourism sector.

Following the meeting, the State Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister and the Governor of the Novo­sibirsk Region exchanged sou­venirs.

Afterwards, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the State Adminis­tration Council and Prime Minis­ter departed from the Tolmache­vo Airport in Novosibirsk to the Republic of Belarus, where they were greeted at the airport by the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region and officials. — MNA/TH
