Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army)Vice-Senior General Soe Win received ASEAN Air Chiefs who attended the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (AACC) hosted by Myanmar, at the parlour of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw yes­terday morning.

 

At the meeting, the Vice-Senior General discussed successful imple­mentation of two political visions and two national visions in accord with the five-point roadmap and nine objectives for the all-round development of the State, enumeration of popu­lation and household registration on test, preparations to collect population and household reg­istration once every 10 years, progress in preparations to successfully hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election and cooperation among ASEAN armies, and reviewed accomplishment of the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (AACC).

 

ASEAN Air Chiefs also in­troduced themselves and dis­cussed their visits to landmarks in Myanmar, the hospitality of Myanmar and the successful holding of the conference.

 

The Vice-Senior Gener­al was accompanied by Com­mander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chief of Staff (Navy) Lt-Gen Zwe Win Myint, Chief of Staff (Air) Lt-Gen Zaw Win Myint and officials.

 

Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force Brig-Gen (u) Dato Seri Pahlawan Moham­mad Sharif Bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the Royal Cambodian Air Force General Soeung Samnang, Chief of Air Force Brig-Gen Khamlek Sengph Achanh of Laos, Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot of the Royal Thai Air Force and Commander of the Air Defence of Viet Nam Lt-Gen Nguyen Van Hien and officials. Yesterday morning, they visited the Me­morial to Fallen Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw), the Butterfly Museum in PyinOoLwin National Kandawgyi Garden and the View Resort in PyinOoLwin. — MNA/TTA
