The EU-Myanmar Sustainable Development Goals Dialogue was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

Union Minister U Thaung Tun and EU Ambassador Kristian Schmidt presided over the dialogue which was also attended by Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Set Aung, the ambassadors of EU member states, officials from these embassies, the representatives and the heads of development cooperation, and senior departmental officials.

During the dialogue, Deputy Minister U Set Aung discussed the ongoing and future plans for the sustainable development project, the Project Bank and the Land Bank. The dialogue also focused on Multiannual Indicative Programme 2014-2020 funded by the EU, and its new aid programmes to Myanmar from 2021 to 2027.—MNA
