AS fixtures have come out, the Myanmar U19 women’s football team will play against hosts Vietnam in the debut of the ASEAN U19 Women’s Championship 2025, which will take place from 9 to 18 June.
The championship will be participated in by hosts Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Timor-Leste in Group A and Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Malaysia in Group B.
Myanmar will play against hosts Vietnam on 9 June, Laos on 11 June and Timor-Leste on 13 June.
Four group matches will be held on 9, 11 and 13 June daily. Semifinal matches will take place on 16 June, and the final and the third-placed match on 18 June.
The Myanmar U19 women’s football team will participate in two international competitions this year, the first of which will be the AFF Championship. The team, comprising more than 30 tentatively selected players, is under the control of Head Coach Daw Thet Thet Win. — Shine Htet Zaw/TTA
