THE Myanmar Fight New Generation traditional Lethwei competition, jointly organized by the Department of Sports and Physical Education, the Myanmar Traditional Lethwei Federation and the Myanmar Martial Art Group (MMAG) was held yesterday at the Thuwunna Lethwei Gymnasium in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon.
A total of 12 bouts took place across three rounds, with fighters such as Pho Khwar, Kaung Gyi, Yan Paing Soe, San Myat Oo, and Kyar Man Hein securing second-round victories, while Ye Min Aung, Sa Ai Lar, Min Khant, and Arno Lay won in the first round. Three matches: Lwan Daung versus Yan Paing Aung, Myanmar’s Mike Khae (Eagle) versus Daniel from the USA and Shwe Lin Yone vs Saw Sae Kh ended in draws.
