Myanmar national men’s football team will play an international friendly match against Chinese Taipei today, according to a source from the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF).

The Asian Lions are set to play the warm-up against Chinese Taipei at Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay at 6 p.m. today. The game will be broadcast live on My Sports and MRTV channels. Ticket prices range from Ks. 2,000 to Ks. 3,000. Tickets can be purchased at Myanmar Football Academy (Mandalay) and an entry gate of Mandalar Thiri Stadium during the office hours. After the match, the squad will play the qualification for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship on home soil.

Myanmar will compete with Japan, Timor-Leste and Macau in a round robin format in the Group-I. The group winner will qualify directly for the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship to be held in Thailand.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
