MYANMAR will host the Group D match­es of the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Qual­ifiers, which include the participation of the Myanmar national team.

 

A total of 19 teams will compete in the qualifiers, divided into three groups of five teams and one group of four. Group A consists of Thailand, Lebanon, Bahrain, Palestine, and Iraq. Group B features In­donesia, Hong Kong, Pakistan, India, and Kyrgyzstan. Group C includes Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Australia, the Philippines, and Kuwait. Group D comprises Vietnam, Chinese Taipei, Macau, and Myanmar.

 

According to the tournament format, the top two teams from each group, along with the best third-placed team, will ad­vance to the final stage, making a total of nine qualifiers. These teams will join host China, Iran, and Japan, who have automatic berths in the final round.

 

Group D matches will be held from 15 to 19 January 2025. Team Myanmar will face Vietnam on 15 January, Chinese Taipei on 17 January, and Macau on 19 January. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
