Myanmar, Japan to jointly conduct Judo training

A Japanese delegation from Hoku’estu University Judo Federation arrived Yangon on 11 February night to carry out joint training with Myanmar judo athletes, according to Myanmar Judo Federation.

The 14-member delegation led by Hoku’estu University Judo Federation President Yasuji Maki was welcomed by President of Myanmar Judo Federation U Tun Tun and members and Myanmar judo athletes.

Under the program jointly conducted by the MJF under the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Hoku’estu University Judo Federation, the judo athletes of Myanmar and Japan will conduct joint training at the Kyeikkasan Sports Science School in Yangon from 11 to 21 February.

The delegation will also meet with the officials of the Ministry of Sports and Health and discuss the rejuvenation of judo in universities in Myanmar.— GNLM (Translated by XXX)
