A total of 59 Myanmar migrant workers were repatriated from Thailand to Myanmar at Kawthoung Border Gate yesterday evening.

With the help of medical staff from the Department of Public Health, officials from Kawthoung District and Township General Administration Department, Department of Immigration and Population, Anti-Trafficking Police Force, Department of Labor and Department of Disaster Management conducted a thermal screening on those who returned from Thailand whether they were infected with coronavirus.

There were no coronavirus suspects and they were provided masks and health care services. Next, the officials helped them to return their homes safely.
