DONATION  ceremony  for  the  flood victims was held at Yangon Regional Department of Disas-ter Management yesterday.

Myanmar Poets’ Union do-nated K 21.5 million and All My-anmar Gorkha Hindu Religious Association K 5.1 million.

Mya  Ayeyar  foundation,  and businessmen and people of Ywa Thar Gyi  Industrial Zone also  donated  K  8,183,000  and  K  639,000  worth  of  30  instant  noodle boxes.

Union  Minister  of  Social  Welfare,  Relief  and  Resettle-ment Dr Win Myat Aye  received the donations.

Then  the  Union  Minister  expressed thanks to the donors.

In  the    afternoon,  Union  Minister  Dr  Win  Myat  Aye  at-tended  a  donation  ceremony  at  Yangon  Motion  Picture  Or-ganization held in preparation for  Centenary  Celebration  of  Myanmar Motion Picture.

At  the  event,  Chairman  of  Myanmar  Motion  Picture  Or-ganization,  U  Zin  Wine  talked  about the donation  and movie industry donated K 26,211,000. Union  Minister  received  it.—MNA
